Realizing that fisho’s would exert larger drag pressures due to the increasing use of braided super lines, the engineers have oversized it's main support shaft for the spool and a triple support system added so that gear alignment and balance would not be compromised even under extreme pressure.

In order to provide more drag area and of course stopping power, the Penn Slammer 560 features a single oversize HT100 drag washer positioned under the spool while also protecting it from the elements.
