It is cheap and the best Spinning reel.
Love the reel. Lucana products are really nice, budget friendly and are of good quality.
Faster shipping methods would be better though. Delhivery is take a lot of time to deliver.
I bought Reno II 800 reel for light fishing setup. This review is after 1 week of extensive use. I'm using this reel on berkley cherry wood 7 ft rod and 6 lb line. There are some pros and cons-
Pros-
1. Low price
2. Light weight.
3. Feels premium on look.
4. Anti reverse works great.
Cons-
1. Drag is not smooth at all. Up 1 kg drag works well.
2. It claims it has a max drag of 3 kg. But You can't set 3 kg drag. It's very inconsistent. The spool will suddenly stop rotating and will break your line.
3. While retrieving big fish (3 kg grass carp in my case) you can feel the gear friction inside the reel.
Conclusion- if you are a beginner who wants to enjoy ultralight/ light fishing with tight budget you can give it a try.
But I think my Shimano sienna 1000 is more value for money in long run.
not good very bad 6000 reel . lost my money
