If you are fishing among heavy cover (lots of lotus leaves or weeds) there is no better frog than this. Its design is aerodynamic making long cast (even against strong upwind) simple. The hooks are sharp which makes for easy hook set and has an excellent action that draws instance strikes from snakeheads. If you are into snakehead fishing, this is a must-have-beginner-friendly frog. Works best for C. striata (country snakehead, larger snakehead species like the C. diplograma will damage this lure).

Tip for beginners: Use darker colors when fishing in muddy water or heavy cover.
