It prevents the hook itself from getting stuck on structure or overhanging areas, while providing an exquisite hardness that makes it easy to hook even when using light spinning line. It's also ideal for homemade small rubber jigs, and comes in a range of sizes that are easy to use with bait finesse. It's an excellent guarded jig head that inherits the basic performance of the VJ-74 Plus Magic, including the hook and keeper.
