Fluorocarbon fishing line — used as both a main line and leader material — is the choice of discerning anglers who demand the best in terms of sensitivity, invisibility, and durability. With lower stretch than monofilament and near-zero visibility underwater, fluorocarbon maximises bite detection and reduces spooking in crystal-clear water.

When used as a main line on a spinning reel, fluorocarbon provides excellent sensitivity for bottom fishing, jigging, and drop-shot presentations. Its density causes it to sink faster than mono, keeping your lure in the strike zone longer. For braided line users, a 1–3 metre fluorocarbon leader is highly recommended for all inshore and offshore fishing.
