About Us
Cabral Outdoors is the story of a fishing enthusiast who couldn't find the gear they needed in their own city. Like many passionate anglers in India, our founder Ripson Cabral knew the frustration of searching for quality tackle and coming up empty-handed. So in 2016, he set out to change that importing premium fishing tackle brands from around the world and making them available to anglers right here in India.
What began as a one person operation with a small store and a modest inventory both online and offline was fuelled by a little bit of fishing fever and a whole lot of determination. The products were right, the need was real, and the community responded. Word spread among anglers, and the momentum built organically, one satisfied customer at a time.
The early days were humble but purposeful. We stocked what we believed in, sold what we tested, and listened closely to every angler who walked through our door or placed an order online. That direct connection with the fishing community has never left us, it's still at the heart of everything we

Where It All Began
Started as a one-person operation with a small physical store and a limited inventory, alongside a basic online presence. The mission was clear: source the best fishing tackle from around the world and bring it to Indian anglers who had nowhere else to turn.
April 2018
Growing Into a New Space
With a growing customer base and expanding product range, we relocated to a larger, better-suited store, making room for more brands, more gear, and more anglers.
July 2019
The Flagship Store
A major milestone we moved into a spacious two floor store in Udupi, Karnataka. More than just a shop, it became a destination for anglers: a place to explore gear, get expert advice, and be part of a like minded community.
2022
Going International
Cabral Outdoors expanded beyond India with the acquisition of Jighead, a dedicated fishing tackle store in Dubai, bringing our expertise to the UAE and the wider Middle East market.

Where We Are Today
Today, Cabral Outdoors is one of India's leading specialized distributors of premium fishing products, with deep roots in lure fishing and a well established presence across key markets nationwide. We distribute globally respected brands including Z-Man, Decoy, Jackall, Lures Factory, Borboleta, Meiho, and more, and have developed our own in house brands: Wave Theory for fishing apparel and accessories, Manjo for handline monofilament, and Strongman for entry level braided lines.
Our reach has grown far beyond a single store. Through pan India distribution, a dedicated e-commerce platform, a field tester network, and active community engagement, we connect anglers from Kerala and Karnataka to Tamil Nadu, Goa, Maharashtra, and beyond. We don't just supply gear we actively build the fishing community through content, education, and on the ground angler support.
