Its an amazing quality rod,i was stunned by the quality of this rod in this price range, you can easily go for bigger game fish on this rod, it is good for casting and float fishing but if you are thinking to use it for bait fishing directly with a weighted bait while looking the tip of the rod for the fish bite signal than it does not excel over there as the tip is not very sensitive like carp fishing rods, like dam x camaro carp fishing rod. those people who want to fish in fresh water river or lake or pond for carps like rohu, katla they can go for dam x camaro but if you are using this rod for float fishing and for casting you can never find a better option than this its an amazing quality rod go for it,according to your need
